Reigning in the Millennium with Jesus Christ!

*Readers note - If you have not read the Bible or you did but skipped reading the last chapter - Revelations, then don't read this post any further.

Me ~  Firstly, let me remind readers that we are in the end of times. We can say that the last days started after Christ was on earth and certainly we are reminded of this in Paul's Ministry. The end of times or those days that precede the great tribulation which has yet to start. An important aspect of the end times is the appearance of the beast and the mark of the beast. What will that look like and when will the mark of the beast be offered?

John ~ A few things as in conditions have to happen first. The technology to tag and track all human beings is the first condition and that condition has been met; though not fully implemented. Condition number two, the anti Christ has to be revealed as such and that has not been met. Condition number three, the false prophet has to create an image that will speak and demand that everyone take the mark or be killed. So, one of three conditions have been met.

Me ~ When those last conditions have been met, what will happen next?

John ~ Then those who take the mark will be worshiping the beast and will suffer physical consequences and finally eternal damnation. The physical consequences will be sores (The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image - Rev. 16:2) and among other things. They will wish to die but not be able to (Rev. 9:5-7). This is likely due to the alternations to the recipients DNA into a semi non human form - transhuman technology which is already on the horizon being. All technologies that prey on the flesh and offer the flesh in this fallen world a better life, a longer life or even eternal life.

As for those that refuse to take the mark as they proclaim to love and follow Jesus Christ the Messiah, many will be executed by beheading (I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years - Rev. 20:4). Others will escape and survive and some will be imprisoned. No one will be able to buy and sell without the mark and those that do not accept will be killed, have to live in hiding and or be marginalized as in severely limited or imprisoned.

"I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years (the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended). This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years" ~ (Rev. 20: 4-6).

Me ~ When Christ returns, there will be the separation of the wheat and the tares which the Bible terms the rapture.  The rapture does not come until Jesus Christ appears in the clouds where we (all those who believe and saved) will meet Him and then we together with Christ will come back to earth and reign with Him in the Spirit (the first resurrection) as it will His Kingdom on earth with Satan thrown into the pit for one thousand years. Who will we reign over in the Millennium, those left in the flesh?

John ~ Yes... the remaining people who came through the great tribulation in the flesh who did not take the mark nor worship the beast and were not Christian. These people of the Millennium will be of the flesh and not of the spirit as they came through the great tribulation in the flesh. They will come to faith and to worship Jesus (the true God) and they will repopulate the earth. Those who were caught up in the air with Christ (all believers who came to faith in Jesus Christ and were persecuted for not taking the mark nor worshiping the beast) will reign over them not in the flesh but made alive in Christ.

Me ~ Then what happens after the thousand year reign?

John ~ At the very end, Satan is loosed from the pit as another sin-filled humanity (sin was not eradicated as in not having run its full course) will attack Jerusalem and over throw God's Kingdom on earth. These people will be judged on their works and many thrown into the lake of fire to be destroyed. Then the New Jerusalem will come down from heaven and there will be a new heaven and new earth for All those who ever came to faith in Christ and all those will receive eternal life in Him! "The old earth will pass away and there is no longer any sea, only the holy city, the new Jerusalem. God Himself will be among us and will wipe away every tear and there will no longer be any death or mourning or crying or pain; the fist things have passed away" ~ Rev. 21.

Me ~ Yes, but why is Satan loosed at all and why does this attack on Jerusalem (after the thousand year reign) have to happen? And, why the 'new Jerusalem'? What is the reason for all this?

John ~ Because, those (unbelievers) who went into the Millennium in the flesh and or their children born in the Millennium not saved prior to Christ's second coming (who never took the mark or worshiped the beast and though not knowing Christ) will have to make a decision to come to Christ and to trust in the Lord God Jesus Christ and not their fleshly mind/body. Without Satan to galvanize them to get them to act on their sin in their hearts, there is no action until Satan is loosed (Rev. 20:7) and draw them to him and many millions will follow him to destroy Christ and His Kingdom on earth (though not yet the New Jerusalem) this Millennium 'thousand year reign'.

Me ~ Yes, but if we were ruling with Christ then why wouldn't be able to do just 'save' them, why bother with this loosing of Satan?

John ~ That is a very good question. Christ asked that in the garden when He first entered into this world. "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me ~ Matthew 26:39. It is not easy to answer. What we can come to understand is that sin 'flesh' must run its full course on earth - the virus in the program must finish and a test to see if it has must be executed.

We know that once Satan is freed after the thousand years, he will come out to deceive the nations again. We have to ask where did all the 'nations' come from since there will be few 'wheat' as in the elect who are caught up in the air and return to earth with Christ to reign with Him in the Spirit. That was explained early on... the nations in the Millennium will be people who came through the tribulation in the flesh. Again, sin as in corruption has to run it full course. This is necessary prior to the New Jerusalem. Hence, a great and final salvation is at hand.

I say a great salvation because this is the last great task of removing 'deleting' sin from the original program. The Bible tells us that in the end it will be like in the days of Noah. In Noah's time, sin had nearly taken over man and the entire earth through fully corrupted flesh whereby the Holy Spirit had no point of entry. Yet, Noah somehow was not so corrupted. However, sin still managed to come through. We know this as we read the story of Ham a son of Noah who finds his father in the tent in a certain way/position/ flesh and upon seeing it becomes corrupted by that sight, that image. We know it is the 'image' of something fleshly as the other brothers walk backwards to cover Noah so that they do not look upon it. From that moment on through Ham, corruption 'sin' works its way again on earth. From that time one, sin grows up until Jesus is born on earth, dies and is resurrected. And yet even that is not enough to conquer sin. Jesus the Son of God had to crucify the flesh so that our original state the spirit could be saved.

Hence, there is a need for a last great salvation, God has to show that sin - flesh was/is not just some kind of genetic corruption but moreover a spiritual corruption - a fallen condition in humanity, not due to a bad environment or lack of resource, or a bad leader/government, or a lack of wealth or opportunity. Christ's second coming has to show sin is endemic to human nature. These people (who will be reigned over) will live in paradise for one thousand years and still rebel, proving that sin is endemic and not the problem of environment or lack of things.

Those in the flesh in the Millennium will have to face the second death, but those who were of the first resurrection will not. "Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years" ~ (Rev. 20:4- 6). Why does the second death have no power over them because they have already been transformed into their original state - the Spirit, God is Spirit and we were created in His image!

Finally, I want to say that this last great salvation with Satan loosed is to finally get rid of sin once and for all 'forever'. The old earth will pass away and there is no longer any sea, only the holy city, the new Jerusalem. God Himself will be among us and will wipe away every tear and there will no longer be any death or mourning or crying or pain; the fist things have passed away ~ Rev. 21. "It is for this reason, I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory... If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself" ~ 2 Timothy 2:10-13.

Yes, Christ does remove sin once and for always because He cannot deny Himself His Creation!
