How God is Keeping Sin from Winning Until He Returns!

Me ~ How is it that we see and experience  both good and ugly/bad things and that there even seems to be a vicious cycle of this? When will it end... these cycles?

John ~ I like to think that God created cycles so that sin/evil would not win as in take over the program... so to speak.

Me ~ Ok, so then we can say this is how God deals with this fallen world in which evil exists and Satan too... keeping sin at bay until He returns.

John ~ Yes, something like that. Satan did not know Christ would not choose him over the Father. In Luke, we read where confronts and tempts Jesus; and Jesus overcomes Satan. And, Satan did not know that Christ's death was going to save man. Through Christ we are saved, overcomers of this fallen looping world.

Me ~ Evil is a destructive force, isn't it?

John ~ Yes, it is. The looping we experience is a crashing and restarting of the program over and over; thus, looping in a linear progression. Its like this because this is a fallen world and in a state of rapid decay. If I could draw an illustration, it would be a kind of shoestring line that loops and moves forward as it does... This is the looping I described. Its necessary as it allows evil to crash and restart but never ever having a lasting kingdom in this fallen world. Satan too is in this loop and his time is running out and he knows it.

Me ~ So... within that loop also exists God's Mercy and Grace which I assume makes use of the looping as it moves forward, and makes use of evil for His good 'our good' rather than Satan's... right?

John ~ Yes, God's Word (where we find His Mercy and Grace) allows us to be in the loop but not of it. "If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world" ~ John 15:19.  God's Word is our hope, joy and peace and knowing that we will be delivered from this darkness... this looping. In Him, we can endure all things- "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength" ~ Philippians 4:13...."Thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ" ~ 1 COR 15:57.

Me ~  So, we should not love this world as it says in 1 John 2:15... or it will keep looping, right?

John ~ God has a time for its end and we should be watchful..."Be Watchful for the Day for it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:35-36.

If the Bible is Literal, What is Amillennialism?

Me ~ Is the Bible a real book?

John ~ Yes, the Bible is a real book that must be taken literally. It is a guide to the program Created by God in which we find ourselves. Hence, all Scripture is from a higher multidimensional realm which we have no access to as of yet. The Millennial is not yet here but it will be...

Me ~ Why does the Catholic Church and most Protestant churches promote the Eschatology that is called - Amillennial?

John ~ The problem also with the Catholic Church and most Protestant Churches is their Eschatology... Catholics and most Protestants are Amillennial which means that they apply allegory to most of the Bible and worse the millennial (thousand years where Christ reins on earth with those that have died in the Lord and those of the first resurrection including those raptured) thinking that God is ruling in our hearts only... this goes back to Origen and Augustine. This is not Scriptural. It is spiritually allegorical.

Me ~ Ok, so why does the Catholic Church insist that the Pope is the vicar of Christ on earth?

John ~ The mistaken view taken by the Catholic Church is that the Kingdom of God has already come on earth due to the misunderstanding that there was going to be two thousand years between Christ's accession and His return. Instead of a literal Christ ruling in a literal Jerusalem the Catholic Church has as an institution attempted to fulfill that Scripture that spoke of Christ's ruling on earth. This is called Amillennialism... the Catholic Church sees itself as the Millennial ~God's Kingdom on earth.

The problem with this is that such a supposition calls God a liar because it denies all the Scriptures that describe in detail this millennial period. This is actually replacement theology and a literal replacement for the 'real' Kingdom of God which will come when Christ returns. The Catholic Church pretends to be more than an illustration of that as the Pope is supposedly representing Christ on earth. The lie is that this is replacing Christ with a man... the Pope is a man and thus he is not Christ on earth.

Me ~ Ok, so the Millennial comes after Christ's return.  Some people say that when Christ resurrected He also returned... His Kingdom was now upon the earth- the Millennial.

John ~ Yes, Christ's resurrection was not His return. In Scripture, angels say that He will come as He left... Not going up into the clouds but coming down from the clouds. If that were to be taken literally, that at His resurrection, He also returned, then why do we need the Pope. This was the question of the Martin Luther too was Amillennial. Well, we don't need a Pope.

Me ~ So, is there a second coming? Or did it happen?

John ~ It has not happened yet. Read the Bible, there is still so much that has not yet taken place. The sign of the Son of Man will be in the sky. It affects all men on the planet earth. Everyone will see Him... everyone everywhere and they will mourn accept those that are His who will be taken up with Him.

Me ~ Now, what if we imagine that all things are happening here and now as in layers (multidimensional) made possible just by perceiving. Those who do not believe cannot see Him nor His Kingdom. But, those that do believe can see Him and His Kingdom. We could go as far as to say this 'new' perception can and should also include and would have to include the New Jerusalem. How do we then account for the fact that the earth is not located in a new universe? Maybe its just that I don't see it as I am sure the argument would be made like that. And, what about poverty, sickness and catastrophe? I guess it would be explained that those things exist but only for those that do not believe and cannot see.

John ~ Well, you know I am not a fan of supposing the layering illustration only because our experience is linear and that has not changed. Even if I were to try to imagine it, I would still find myself living and dying in a linear state of decay where money makes the world go around. Now, I guess I could toke on a spliff and things would start to look much better not only for myself but as I might see everyone else. Yet, how could I pretend that my best friend didn't have a heart attack or get cancer? How could I could pretend that sins like sexual immorality and murder did not exist but television and news papers are full of it. This is still a fallen world and it is passing away. Thank God Jesus Christ is Coming and when the Real Millennial is here, we will all know it.

Free Will ~ Overcoming is choosing God's way most of the time..

God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew... at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.

The crucial question remains: How does God do the predestining while guaranteeing us the freedom of our will, as the Scripture and our understanding of love demand? How does God predetermine every choice without infringing on our control over the human choice? God is omnipotent, He is the Alpha and the Omega. He exists in a higher dimension and is all things at all times.

Imagine His existence is both vertical and horizontal whereas our existence here and now is this fallen world is experienced horizontally from a point moving only forward. God being both vertical and horizontal means that He exists in all places simultaneously. Ultimately, He knows who will respond to Him and who will not.

What about Scripture that tells us that God so loved the world He sent His Son... doesn't that suggest that He saved everyone? Yes, God has willed that everyone is saved even though we are filthy rags and no one seeks Him. Yet, even though He has willed that everyone be saved, He also willed 'freewill'; thus, we having a freewill have a free choice to reject that salvation.

Hence, we who have chosen God, are constantly overcoming this fallen world by choosing God's way most of the time... Paul said in Romans 7 that he does what he hates and not what he wants. This is our experience too. There is a tug of war in our life here in this fallen world. The enemy Satan pulls us his way while God pulls us His way. Those who have responded to being called and answering to God's call experience this fully every day.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world ~ James 4:8.
