Resurrection ~ Why is it so important?

Me ~ Is the resurrection key to understanding the role of Jesus Christ regarding man's current dimensional existence and God's promise of eternal life in a higher dimension?

John ~ Yes, it is because by his resurrection he has ended the curse of spiritual death for those of us who accept his gift of eternal life. Of course this is based on His worthiness. I want to say that Jesus demonstrated higher dimensional attributes in his post resurrection state, such as being to appear and disappear at will. To be recognized or not at will and being able to walk the earth as flesh and body but also being able to leave in his spiritual nature. These attributes have been promised to those of us who have been born of the spirit through Jesus Christ when he returns.

The resurrection is an illustration of man's transformation from being dead in sin to being alive in Christ. The resurrected body of Christ appeared in the flesh to His disciples for purpose of revealing His resurrected dimensional attributes. We too will be resurrected from the dead and have such attributes. When Jesus returns, He will raise the dead and give those who were dead and those still alive glorified bodies. People in heaven now have spiritual bodies but they don't have physical bodies which means they do not have glorified bodies as Christ did after His resurrection. But, they will get them and we will too at the rapture.

The dead will rise first and we those still alive will be raptured which means that in the twinkling of an eye, we will be given a body just like His. You see, Jesus having both a physical and spiritual body = a glorified body represents the new Adam. Jesus exists in both in this reality and in higher realities. Jesus demonstrated this as He ate with the disciples after His resurrection. He was alive, a better version of man that we will become too. We will be like Him for we will see Him as He is. We will be known just as He is known.

Gog Magog War is Post Millennium!

Me ~ When is the Gog / Magog War and Why?

John ~ Firstly, the Gog / Magog War is not going to happen now. Gog is not the anti-Christ. Gog is Satan. And, Satan is a fallen cherubim who is the supreme anti-Christ spirit = against God. There is going to be a final anti-Christ = the beast who is the last one. This anti-Christ is coming as a man in the flesh.he will be indwelt by the spirit of the evil one, the dragon gives him authority.

The Gog Magog War happens at the end of the thousand year 'millennium' which is Christ's rule on earth. During that reign, Satan is however, bound in the pit at this end time. Satan is released from his prison and attempts to over throw God from His Holy Mountain to sit in the temple as God. This is the Gog Magog War.

Me ~ What led you to arrive at that conclusion?

John ~ It is simple. Gog is not the anti-Christ. He is Satan. The anti-Christ is an 'end time' man who is filled of the anti-Christ spirit... against God. The anti-Christ appears at the end of the world age which looks like now is the time ripe for his taking a world stage. This man is going to come from the area from Assyria. He will gain political and military power in the Middle East. He then proceeds to get more power when ten rulers give over their authority to him. At some point, he makes a covenant with many nations one being Israel which says that Israel will be left alone and be safe.

From the moment of the signing of that covenant, until thereafter a period of three and half years will pass, and he breaks this covenant and attacks Israel and he succeeds entering the Temple which was built earlier during that time from the signing until the three and a half years, and places an image of himself in the Temple which speaks and tells everyone to worship the beast - which he is = the anti-Christ. His mark will be required by all people to accept in order to buy and sell.

A lot of Jews and Christians will refuse to do so. Many Jews will flee to the mountains of Jordan and be safe there. And so he will turn his persecutions against Christians.

Then at some point, the day of the Lord happens when Christ returns and nearly destroys the earth entirely (Armageddon) and at the end of this short period, the anti-Christ is overthrown by Christ when he returns and Christ sets up the Millennium Kingdom on earth. That is when the Satan is imprisoned in the pit for those thousand years. While the anti-Christ and the false prophet are put into the lake of fire. They are gone.

Let me say that the most important language used to support this is found in Rev. 20 where we read that Satan is thrown into the pit for one thousand years and just prior to that the anti-Christ and the false prophet were thrown into the lake of fire. "But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf... The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur." ~Rev. 19:20.

Back to the Gog Magog War which we find in Ezekiel 38-39, this does not fit anywhere in any time prior to all of that. Firstly, what we read in Ezekiel is a war that is not fought with modern weaponry. It is fought with weapons that today would be considered outdated and even ancient. This means that all modern weaponry is wiped out, in fact, during the thousand years, there will be no need of such weaponry. The final battle is the Gog/ Magog War. Satan is unleashed. Again, Gog is Satan. Gog means from under the roof. Magog means "out from under the roof". Gog refers to Satan as he is captive, bound, kept as it were: under a roof. Magog refers to Satan being unloosed. As Magog, he bursts forth from where he had been bound, under the roof.

Finally, at the very end the devil - Satan, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. ~ Rev. 20:15.

After this battle, the New Jerusalem will come and no more tears will be shed.

Recap -

Gog is a spirit, Satan is the supreme anti-Christ spirit and the anti-Christ who takes the world stage is a man = the beast. So again in reviewing end times, we begin with the anti-Christ 'the beast' who is a man of fierce countenance who has Satan's supreme anti-Christ spirit. There is a covenant made with Israel and the temple is built and the anti-Christ sits there causing the ‘abomination of desolation’.
After 3 and 1/2 years, the Lord Jesus Christ comes and then we have the (Armageddon) and the Rapture happens where we meet Christ in the cloud - this marks the end of the seven year tribulation. Just then, Satan 'a fallen cherubim - the supreme anti-Christ spirit' is chained; and the anti-Christ/man ‘the beast’ is thrown into the lake of fire along with the false prophet and then the Millennium begins.
After one thousand years, Satan is released from the pit, the Gog/Magog battle takes place and after that...Satan is also thrown into the lake of fire where the beast 'anti-Christ' and the false prophet already are and the New Jerusalem comes down as heaven and earth are joined.
